The Love Story
Hannah and Braden first met during the summer after their freshman year of college. Although they attended different universities, they were introduced through a mutual friend after Braden saw a photo of Hannah posted from a trip to Florida. Curious to know more about her, he reached out and planned their first date.
What was meant to be a casual evening quickly turned into hours of conversation at a drive-in diner on a warm summer night. They talked for nearly four hours without ever running out of things to say. Even more surprising, they discovered they had lived only thirty minutes apart their entire lives without ever crossing paths before then.
Over the next several years, they balanced busy college schedules while making time for each other whenever possible. Through long weekends together, late-night conversations, and countless small moments, their relationship naturally grew into something steady and deeply meaningful. Hannah knew Braden was “the one” because being together always felt easy. Whether they were doing something exciting or simply talking for hours at home, they brought out the best and most authentic versions of each other.

Wedding Location
Long before getting engaged, Hannah had always loved White Willow Farms and hoped she would get married there someday. The large property, outdoor chapel, and timeless feel of the venue immediately stood out to her.
The outdoor chapel especially became one of their favorite parts of the space. With classic pew seating surrounded by nature, it felt romantic, intimate, and still elegant at the same time. They also loved being able to have every part of the wedding day in one location while still making the entire day feel like their own.

The Aesthetic
The vision for the wedding was timeless with a modern twist. Hannah wanted everything to feel classic and elegant while still bringing in fun, personal details that made the day feel true to them.
The design centered around a black-and-white color palette with touches of rose gold throughout to soften the look and bring warmth into the space. Black-and-white floral details carried across the tables, signage, and smaller decor moments, tying everything together in a way that felt cohesive.
One of the biggest statement pieces was the floral garland surrounding the chapel entrance, which created such a romantic feel for the ceremony. Inside the reception, the large checkered dance floor quickly became the center of the night. Warm lighting, layered florals, and custom details completely transformed the space throughout the evening.
Some of their favorite personal touches included a custom-built phone booth where guests could leave recorded messages, oversized “The Bixlers” marquee lights, and fun signage featuring their poodle Jake. They also included fans with details about their wedding day and ended the night with a vintage-inspired cake cutting before driving off in Braden’s father’s Porsche with a “Just Married” sign on the back.
All of the details came together in a way that felt personal to them and created an atmosphere that was both elegant and fun throughout the entire night.

The Dress
Hannah originally envisioned herself in a dramatic ball gown full of details. But during her appointment at The Wedding Studio, everything changed the moment she tried on the Camila 2.0 wedding dress by Alyssa Kristin.
Remarkably, it was only the second dress she put on.
The Camila 2.0 immediately stood out because of how confident and comfortable it made her feel. The clean silhouette, structured fit, and off-the-shoulder straps felt timeless while still giving the bridal look a modern edge. Even though it was completely different from what she initially imagined, it felt the most like her.
She customized her wedding dress by adding buttons down the back and pairing it with a French bustle for the reception. To complete the look, she chose a dramatic lace-edged veil that added softness and elegance without overpowering the minimalist silhouette.
Rather than layering on excessive accessories, Hannah allowed the gown itself to remain the focal point of the bridal look.
Favorite Moment
While the entire day felt magical, Hannah’s favorite memory was their private last dance at the end of the evening. After months of planning and an entire day surrounded by loved ones, it became one quiet moment where the two of them could simply be together and fully absorb everything they had just experienced.
Looking around the reception space, taking in the atmosphere, and realizing they had officially begun this new chapter together became a feeling they know they will carry forever.
Advice to Future Brides
Hannah’s advice to future brides is simple: stay true to yourself throughout the process.
Go into wedding dress shopping with an open mind, even if a dress feels completely different from what you originally imagined. The dress that makes you feel the most confident and most like yourself is often the right one.
