How much do your gowns cost?
Our gowns range between $2,850-$3,450. Modifications are available for an additional fee and typically range between $100-$600. Please inquire with your local retailer for pricing details.
What sizes do you offer?
The Alyssa Kristin size chart ranges from 0-28. Sizing beyond the size chart is also available - please inquire with your stylist.
Do you offer custom gowns?
While we do not offer custom gowns, our gowns can be modified. Your stylist can walk you through available changes.
Do you offer modifications?
Yes – your stylist will guide you through available modifications during your appointment!

What are some Mikado modifications?
Buttons
- Add buttons down to the waist, zipper or entire train
Skirt and Train
- Remove the slit for a closed skirt
- Remove the train if a bustle isn’t for you
What are some crepe modifications?
Buttons
- Add buttons to the waist, down the zipper, to the skirt break or entire train
Skirt and Train
- Choose between a plain, pleated, pleated with a slit or a-line skirt
- Remove the train if a bustle isn’t for you
- Add a slit for an added peek of skin - choose left, right or center
Appointments
Do I need an appointment?
Yes! We are open by appointment only on select days and host one bride at a time. Book your appointment here!
How long are appointments?
Appointments are 60 minutes long and cannot be extended. If you are running late, please let us know via text/email! Your appointment will be canceled if we do not hear from you 15 minutes into your scheduled time.
What styles and sizes are available to try on in studio?
Styles you see on our website are all available to try on in our standard size 6 (street size 2-4). Additionally, some styles are also sampled in sizes ranging 10-14 (street size 8-12) and our most popular styles are sampled in curve sizes ranging 18-24 (street size 16-20).
What should I wear to my appointment?
Nude colored seamless undergarments are always a great idea. You’re welcome to also bring anything you may want to wear on your wedding day – shoes, jewelry, veil, etc.
How many guests can I bring with me?
You can bring up to 4 guests with you.
Are we allowed to bring outside food or drink?
We do not allow outside food or drink in studio to preserve the gowns.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Of course! You can reschedule or cancel your appointment via your confirmation email.
Where should I park when I arrive?
There is plenty of metered street parking in front of our studio. You can download the Park Chicago app or pay at the box.
LWD
Where can I try on the AK Minis?
AK Minis are available to try on at the Alyssa Kristin Studio in Chicago and select retailers. Find your nearest retailer here.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only offer domestic shipping within the United States. We are working on expanding our shipping options and will update our website when international shipping becomes available.
How do I cancel or modify my order?
Please reach out to support@alyssakristin.com for assistance.
What is your return/exchange policy?
All items not marked as final sale are eligible for return within 14 days of the delivery date. Please read all return and exchange details here.
What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
If you believe your item was damaged in transit or is defective, please email us at support@alyssakristin.com with detailed photos explaining the issue within 48 hours of delivery and keep the original shipping box. Products will be deemed defective at the discretion of the Alyssa Kristin Quality Control team.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we offer digital gift cards! You can purchase them on our website and they can be used for any products on our website or at the Alyssa Kristin studio.
