Title: Quality & Fulfillment Assistant

Location: Chicago, IL (On-site Required)

Schedule: Part-time, 16-20 hrs/week. Fully available on Thursdays and flexible availability on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays. Business hours are 9am-5pm Central.

Compensation: $20/hour, with potential for more based on performance.

Alyssa Kristin is a modern bridal house rooted in elegant intentional design, elevated minimalism, and American craftsmanship. We create gowns for women who move with confidence—uncompromising, intuitive, and refined.

We’re hiring a Production Assistant to keep our atelier moving quickly and precisely. This is a highly hands-on, on-your-feet role in a fast-paced studio. You’ll inspect gowns, build boxes, and ship orders with speed and accuracy while keeping the space organized and production flowing.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect gowns for fit, finishing, and quality against detailed checklists
  • Prepare outbound orders end-to-end: steam, tag, pack, build boxes, print labels, ship
  • Move quickly through daily queues while maintaining accuracy
  • Track inventory and restock supplies to keep production on track
  • Support cutting, prep, and general studio upkeep as needed
  • Communicate issues immediately and pivot priorities as timelines shift

Who You Are

  • Fast, focused, and reliable with a strong sense of urgency
  • Detail-driven with excellent hands-on follow-through
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and switching gears mid-day
  • Clear communicator and collaborative teammate
  • Zero-defect mindset on packing and documentation
  • Local to Chicago with consistent Thursday availability and flexibility on Tuesday and/or Wednesday
  • Comfortable being on your feet for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Experience in production, quality control, or fulfillment is a plus, not required
  • English required; Spanish a plus
